Let's face it, the "
SEO Section" is not open for everyone and is reserved for the elite few who have proven to be helpful to the IJ community and have been around for long enough. The stuff we share in the
SEO section is strictly prohibited from being shared out of it, and yeah, not to mention, most of it is utterly amazing.
So, if you want to get into the "
SEO Section" and get all those juicy benefits that come along with it, you gotta work hard right here in "Sharing Point". You need to share something useful here to prove your mettle and get access there.
However, I see most of the members cribbing that they don't have a lot of products to share or they don't know how to hack or crack. Well guys, wake up and smell the coffee! You can STILL help others without doing all that. And that's the way to actually be a part of the community and show that you matter. To help everyone who wants access to the
SEO section, given below is a list of things you can do to get into the good books of the mods and become a valuable IJ member:
1) Share products, old or new - Regardless of the fact that the product you have is old or new, just share it. Be it any kind of product related to making money or
SEO, just share it here without second thoughts. However, make sure you do a search before you do to see if it has already been shared.
2) Make mirrors - I can't stress more on this one, it is one of the best ways to help others and give them what they want. Popular and recommended mirror sites are Rapidshare, Mediafire and Rapidspread. Links die down fast over here and then there are other issues people have, just make alternate mirrors and you should be good.
3) Don't limit yourself - Go ahead and share anything that you feel will help make money or improve business. Don't limit yourself on sharing just money-making methods. You can share stuff on marketing, business development, planning, achieving goals, self-help, productivity - Basically anything that will assist you in reaching your money-making goals.
4) Reply to posts with good, quality content - When replying to a post, make sure it is helpful content. It can be as simple as giving your opinion. Think before you reply and see if your contribution to the thread is helpful to the others.
5) Give honest reviews - Time is precious and not everyone can try out everything. Give your honest review about the share and what you genuinely feel about it. This helps others better understand if the share is good, bad or ugly.
6) Share your own experiences/results/methods - If you took some action and got some good results, we all want to hear from you. Share your experience and what all you did in order to get the results, as it's surely the best way to give back to the community and help the others get on the right track.
7) Help members search for existing shares - There are often requests made for a product that has already been shared. Maybe the person wasn't able to find it even after searching around. Help others by giving them direct links to the threads for the share they are looking for.
8) Share articles - That's right. A lot of us browse and read a lot of stuff online, which might be really helpful. Share such articles with other members so that they gain benefit out of it and you gain more insight.
9) Share free but valuable tools - There are a lot of tools out there, which are totally free, but very helpful. If you come across them, and feel that other members can benefit, then go ahead and share.
10) Share newer software versions - Even if a software has already been shared, you can still post a newer version if you find it. The community is always looking for updated versions.
11) Download stuff from torrents and share - There's a lot of stuff on torrents that you can download and re-upload to Rapidshare or Mediafire. You can download big-ticket products shared on torrents and share them with the community. However, don't post any direct torrent links here.
12) Ask for thanks in your signature (after you share) - It never hurts to ask, and gently remind people that they thank you for your effort. This can be done in a creative way in your signature. Set this up only after you share some stuff.
13) Search before you share - It's always important that you search the forum before you share, to check if it's already been shared. This way your efforts won't go to waste and you'd be able to share good, quality stuff that no one has shared before.
14) Find and share stuff already available on Rapidshare - A simple strategy which you can use to get good stuff to share is, search Google for files already uploaded on Rapidshare. Just put up the name of the product in quotes "Product Name" followed by Rapidshare. This should give you pages where other people have already shared it. If the link isn't dead, you can take it and post it here for our members. Don't forget to search the forum to see if it has been shared here previously.
15) Keep an eye on the "Requests" Section - This is where you know what members are looking for and is the best place to know about new products that come out. Keep an eye on this section and if there is a product that you notice that you already bought, cracked, hacked or have on your hard drive then you can be the first one to share and help. At the same time, you can post your share in the main sharing section for everyone to download.
16) Share sales info - Many times products are shared without any link to the sales page. In such a case, you can simply Google the name of the share and see if you can find any sales info. If the sales page has been removed but you get the URL just visit:
Code:
hxxp://www.archive.org/
And get a cached copy of the page when it was live
17) Convert and share existing video shares to mp3 - If you notice any video shares, it's an opportunity for you to convert them to mp3 and post them in the same thread for members who want to download ONLY the audio part, which is smaller in size. This way, they can also listen to the audio on their iPod.
18) Be Active - Always be active on the forum and make sure you regularly check it and reply to posts. Just keep a lookout for members needing help in anyway and see if you can help them out. Be an active member of the community and you will definitely be noticed.
19) Hang in there and don't give up - It's very easy to give up and difficult to be persistent. Work hard in growing the community, share some quality stuff and go out of your way to help others.
20) Take action - Apply the above tips in real time, take some sweet action and reap the benefits [img]images/smilies/smile.gif[/img]
These are the tips that I felt are important to follow if you want to make your presence felt and be a valuable part of the community. I've outlined them here based on my own experience and what I feel would help others gain access to
SEO. You are welcome to add any points of your own here to make it even more helpful.
